It’s the 26th of October 2009 and here is my new entry. It seems tat I take about every 8 days to post something new. Which means only 4 posts in about a month. @.@. Quite little don’t u think so? I can’t blog tat much either and making videos are alredi a handful, ><

I’m also behind on some videos. I have just recently uploaded Ninja Castle videos again. I’m suppose to just upload this month’s contents but it’s not as easy as it seems. I’m planning to do more Neo Tokyo quests and some new events in MapleSEA. I just didn’t had tat much time. Anywayz, in the end I still manage to fight Vergamot. It was exhilarating!!

Fighting Vergamot

Finally I completed the last quest for the Odaiba 2100 map ^^. As said in my previous post, it was to collect 3 items from Overlord and Afterroad. After getting the last quest item, I could now proceed to fight the boss Vergamot. The only thing that I need to do now is to find party members to go with. I was told by the npc that I required 3 other members to enter into Vergamot’s map. So I went serching around Odaiba for people who are interested in fighting Vergamot.

I found a few such as qzoroq, faithong, sleipmoon and momo around Odaiba map. After helping them with their quests and after completing them, we then went for the boss. We had 5 party members only during tat time. We decided to try enter, but we couldn’t. It needed 6.

But no worries. Later on, Cutiekoaty, a lvl 200 dk decided to join us and help us out with Vergamot. And so we entered with 6 ppl. The party consist of 1 viper, 1 bowmaster, 2 dks, 1 ice lightning mage and 1 nightlord. I guess it won’t be that hard killing vergamot as we had 5 lvl 200. We met there and was told of the instructions by Koaty. We registerered and we all entered into the map.

After killing the flying Overlord, Vergamot appeared. We all stood at the bottom in the water. Vergamot had 2 attacks; Missle launching and the laser beam. The missile launch attack deals a total of 9k dmg ~ 12k damage. And the laser beam attack deals about 8k ++ dmg  and dispels on hit. These attacks can be avoided by bending down. Although it can be avoided, it was still hard. There are ways to tell if the attacks are being cast. For the missile attack, Vergamot’s body would shake and there will be sounds of missiles launching. After a while, the missiles would fall and hit maplers below. As for the laser beam. There will be a larger laser followed by a smaller laser. The larger laser won’t deal any damage but the smaller laser would deal damage and dispel on hit.

I died twice during the fight. I was too slow and got hit by the missiles. Standing behind at a certain range, the missile would deal 8k~9k dmg. And I had just enough HP to tank it.

Vergamot had 3 forms. And each of the form had a special attack. Vergamot would also seduce at the 3rd form. It would seduce a character to the left jumping to the top. Thankfully Vergamot wouldn’t launch any attack on seduced victims on the left. It took quite some time for us to kill Vergamot. Sophylia got disconnected while Faithong and Momo died. I also didn’t had enough memory to record the whole boss fight. But in the end we still manage to kill it. The drops weren’t much, only pots and ETC. I then completed the quest.

It was my 1st time fighting Vergamot. I never knew it would be that hard. The fight was exhilarating. It was heart pumping and exciting at the same time. The music also suited the boss fight. I like the music very much and even downloaded it. Vergamot is surely an interesting boss to fight as it requires a bit of tactic. One needs to know when to avoid and when to atk. Previous bosses are all about atking and tanking damage. No ways of avoiding or so. That is why Vergamot is different and I will surely try it again. ^^

The Maze

Ninja Castle is also known as Kaeda Castle in Japan MS. I know this is a little late but still I decided to make a video and post about this on my blogsite. I made a video on the tour of Ninja Castle. Ninja castle is a maze castle and is divided into 3 parts. 2 parts are mazes while 1 part is a jump quest. So in my videos I have seperated the jump quest from the maze.

I have a few guildmates asking me how to complete the maze. They have a hard time going through the maze. After giving them some guides which I found online, they could now go through the maze. As for myself, I have visited there a few times and have remembered which holes to enter. I 1st learn to enter the maze by a guide online with had pictures in it. I also do know that there are some videos on the Ninja Castle maze. But now I decided to make my own version of myself completing the Ninja Castle Maze.

The 1st maze is to enter holes and doors to proceed to the next map. All the maps have the same name. One can differentiate each map by the structure and also the monsters in them. I would try to remember the monsters in them instead. There are about 10 maps here before the jump quest area. I missed out the npc selling pot area in my video. After entering into 9 maps, one would end up at the 2nd part, the jump quest area.

After completing the jump quest area, maplers would come to the 2nd maze. The 2nd maze is a door entering maze. There are 3 doors and maplers need to enter doors until they are out of it. I would just remember to enter the 2nd door whenver I see 2 flaming ninjas and a white male ninja. After completing the 2nd maze and moving into a few rooms, Emperor will appear at the last room.

The Jump Quest

This jump quest is surely a hard one. The 1st time I tried it, I kept on falling. My guildmates also took about 1 hour ++ just to complete this jump quest. It was really annoying and frustrating at the same time. If one has never tried jump quests in Maplestory before, it is better to avoid this. This is much harder than previuos jump quests.

Ninja Castle jump quest is divided into 3 parts / sections. There are 2 resting areas b4 moving on to the next part. The 1st part isn’t that hard. One has to wait for the spears to poke in the correct order. Once that is known and observed carefully, one can then start jumping to the 1st, and then to the 2nd and so on.

The 2nd part will be a bit harder as ninjas will be throwing stars to make you fall. One has to know the “hang & bang” technique. This is where one jumps onto a moving attack, gets hit, and hangs back onto the rope. How is tat possible? It is because the attack will hit you back onto the rope area and by holding the”"up” key, you will hang onto the rope again.

I made this jump quest especially for guild members and Emperor attackers. Hopefully this will speed up their jumping process so that every1 wouldn’t have to wait so long in order for others to arrive to fight Emperor.

Fishing

Just last Wednesday, MapleSEA added a new event. It was the fishing event. MapleSEA had the fishing patch added long ago. Maplers could buy fishing rod (4.5k Cash) from the Cash shop and then go fishing. While fishing, maplers could go afk and they would gain either exp, mesos or ores in a minute depending on which fishing rod they use.

Golden Fish Egg

This time, MapleSEA added an event for it. It was to see who can catch the most golden fish eggs and golden fishes. Also in this event, MapleSEA gave out fishing rods for free to each and every mapler. Not just 1 fishing rod, but a few. But it doesn’t make any difference anyway with 1 or more fishing rods as they expire on the same day.

Previously, fishing only gives mesos, exp and ores. This time in this event, fishing gives exp, mesos, golden fish eggs and golden fishes. So what does 1 get, if he or she has the most golden fish eggs or golden fishes?

Maplers with the most fish eggs would get:

The Fishing King medal. It is a permanent medal and adds +10 to all stats. The only downside of this is tat the golden fish eggs are tradable. Which means maplers can buy and sell these eggs. Concluding being that the richest mapler will win the medal. Rich maplers would get to buy and collect all the eggs. And as for the golden fish…

Mapler with the most golden fish would get a reverse weapon of their job.

But golden fish are untradable and there are also a few small quests for golden fish trading. Collecting 300 golden fish and exchanging it with Kedrick, the fishing npc, he would reward you with a strawberry watermelon. While trading 500 golden fish would give you a Fairy’s Pendant.

This strawberry watermelon is a mouth piece that adds +5 wa and +5 ma. The only downside of it is tat is lasts only 7 days from what I heard. Not tat good in exchange for 300 golden fishes and losing the chance in winning a reverse equip.

Also 1 can only buy 120 normal baits in a day. This resets at midnite 12.00am. MapleSEA had also implemented the ‘Declicious Bait Can’ which costs 1k Cash. This allows mapler to exchange an additional 120 delicious bait. Also this delicious bait can only be use once in a day. Totaling 240 baits in a day. 1 bait will be use in 1 minute. 240 baits = 4 hours of afking.

After a patch on Saturday, Maplers could now buy up to 5 ‘Delicious bait cans’ in a day. A good way for ASF (Asiasoft) to make more money. Also ASF do know tat it’s imposssible to get more than 500 golden fishes with the limitations on baits. Tat is why they changed it.

As for me, I’m trying to get the Watermelon ice cream if able. I’m just giving it a try for now. =3

Other than those, I did went for a few boss runs. Like horntail, Zakum, and Targa Scarlion. I also added a new page on my blogsite called the Q&A. It is where maplers can ask their questions there instead of posting it everywhere in different pages. Also my services are back.

Here is also something interesting, xFinalHero had a stat ring, the Gritto’s Wisdom Ring. Very rare to see 1 in Delphinus. It adds 1 int, 2 luck. Wish I had 1 too. Equipping 3 (Not including wedding ring) would give +6 luk, 3 int. It may seem little but it’s just an additional stat not on a normal equip (overall, top, bottom, helm, etc..). This ring is only available through gachapons and it’s not easy to obtain 1 through it.

During these few days it has been good but not completly well.

I had people copying my guild thread at ASF forum and insulting it. I never knew tat person and he juist copied my thread and insulted it with his childish remarks. It was due to his ego of hating all maplers in Delphinus.
I also had people talking about me whether I have a life or not at Basilmarket.

Things don’t always go so well for me. There’s always insults here and there. I’m just saying it to let my readers know that it’s not all happy and go-lucky in IAngelial’s life, not everything is smooth and that I have no problems. It isn’t easy being the way I am but still I’m truly glad that many still support me till now. I’m very thankful for tat. =3
