The End of scrolling shoes.

This is the final video of me scrolling shoes. I won’t be scrolling shoes anymore in the future unless facestomper is release in MapleSEA. It costs me too much and I had alredi what I wanted which was a +20 jump shoe. I was hoping for more though. So finally I gathered the remaining shoes and the remaining scrolls. I got them all ready in FM and ready to scroll. And so I began. This was a daily process not all scrolled in a day. I took about 3~4 days to scroll them all.

As previously, I have alredi pass a shoe +4 with 1 slot left which was the Sneak peak. Sad to say that this was indeed a tragedy. So close yet so far. I had 2 shoes with +4 which had 1 slot left. It was really depressing. I almost has a perfect shoe. But the shoes got destroyed instead. Bad luck during the last scrolls. I was also too greedy and now I have learn my lesson. After failing a scroll, it is best to stop scrolling for that day. This is what I should remind myself always when scrolling and also others interested to scroll. I was kinda lucky during the 1st few scrolls. I even passed 3/4 30% in a day. Tat was really lucky and got me thinking tat scrolling with the Legendary Spirit skill is a good sign.

I come to think that there’s a day when one is lucky and there’s another day which 1 is unlucky. I shouldn’t have pushed my luck further and now the +5 shoe is gone. I had achieve my target though which was to scroll a +20 jump shoe and so I did. But getting the +25 jump shoe was so close if I just waited patiently. Silly me.

But anywayz, I won’t be quitting MapleSEA nor stop making videos. It will still go on. I now have 3 shoes which are +4 which I’m wearing 1 now and the other 2. I’m going to keep them until I get the price offered which I expect but kinda impossible though. I’m looking for around 300m and above for those shoes if not I’m not selling any of them and keeping them and mayb they can be use in the future. That’s If I get hacked.

Still it was experiencing and I’ve spent almost less than 1.5 billions mesos on the shoes and the scrolls. Over 200 jump shoe scrolls used. The price has increased a lot since last time and its best I stopped now. In real maths calculation and chances, I didn’t had enough shoes to scroll until +5 though. I needed more to scroll a +5 jump shoe. Seems like scrolling a perfect +7 isn’t as easy as it seems only with white scrolls.

More level 200

A lot lvl 200 came up last week. Firstly was the infamous Elvni0chan. He finally leveled to level 200. He was then the 1st Fire Mage in Delph to reach lvl 200. Also his the top fire mage now, duh. As usual megas spammed. Not much I wan to talk about it though.

Then next was Slimygirl and missyraven. Both bishops reached lvl 200 on Monday. It was a holiday and we had x4 exp on that day. So with the help of the x4 exp event, they were able to gain a lot of exp and lvl quickly.

3 Mages reached lvl 200 just in this week in Delph. And don’t forgetting just today, another DK added onto the rank of 200. It was my sellfish guildmate, ZenDk. He finally reached lvl 200 after training so much with 4 users. He was one of the DKs that used to train with me long ago even before 4th job at mong maps. So he reached lvl 200 after me. And megas spammed and spammed.

Lvled up and others

Not only did they lvled up, but I lvled up too. I lvled up to lvl 194. It was about after 12 days since I last lvl. It took me around tat much days. So I guess for the upcoming levels I would probably take tat much days too. Probably a bit slower as it goes on. I guess there’s no really other ways to lvl up fast beside being multiplayer. Another way which I could take to lvl up faster was to sponsor Archmages or bishops to spam with me. But tat’s too costly and that would certainly kill my mesos. Although I do have quite a sum of mesos now but I shouldn’t just spend all of them just like tat.

I have also gone for several boss fights especially krexel. But it seems it didn’t give me much equips compared to last week. I only had like 1~3 weapons during the x4 drop rate. Was hoping for more though and the weapons that I had are mostly below average. Zzzz. Especially both the craven and the pinaka. I will not have so much time to solo krexel anymore as I nid to put more attention into training for the next upcoming month.

And in the next upcoming videos, I’ll be taking videos of me training at dukus. I always forget about it even though I’m training there daily. Hopefully there will be much more excitement in the future and also the pirate job is coming soon to MapleSEA. I’ll make a review on the upcoming pirate job in the next post. Solo-ing grandpa again

On the 687th day, I manage to solo grandpa again. This is my 3rd successful solo so far. I have made a short video on how I lured bg A to the corner if this happens during the start. I should be more careful next time and try save ILuvToHs next time.

So after luring and carefully pinning BG A to the right side, I concentrated. I kept focus and fought BG A all the way. There weren’t any big mistakes or lags so it helped me a lot. I manage to kill BG A at around 1 hour 25 minutes. It didn’t took long as estimated but I didn’t capture the video on me killing it just the screenshot.

So after tat was BG B and usual it wasn’t tat hard. I just had to kept focus. I looted a pin from BG A. And when BG B was downed I too looted it’s bullet. I had x2 drop rate at that moment. After less than 2 hours I killed BG B and moved onto Grandpa.

I had difficulties during grandpa as it was lagging. And I didn’t bring enough pots and all cure. But I manage to survive till the end using wateva I had at that moment. Tried to lure it careful and place puppet at the right spot. And soon I killed grandpa. I was hoping for a gold emerald earring to drop since I was on x2 drop rate. But sadly I didn’t’ get it. But the exp was good about 6% in total with x2 exp coupons.

Other than soloing grandpa, I also just went for a group grandpa together with Congenic, our alliance guild. It was a success but sadly once again there wasn’t any Gold Emerald earrings. The drops are shared this time and I was put in charge to sell them.

All I wan to say is Thank you krexel for the wonderful drops. I was really shocked when these equips dropped. I thought it was 4 weapons. But actually I then saw it was 5 weapons. Pinaka, Craven, Blue marine, Nisrock and Sparta. The top weapons. I was really happy with the outcome as I killed krexel during x4 drops. I thought it was the best drops I had. But I was wrong. I then checked the forum and found out that one group even got up to 7 equips in one krexel. OMG. I wish I got up to 70 equips too. But I can’t be that greedy. 5 Equips is alredi good enough.

And so I earned 100 million mesos just in 1 day. But due to the fixed party I have now, I wasn’t able to solo krexel everyday anymore unless I really really wanted to. If I’m lacking of mesos, krexel would be my answer. And below are a few screenshots more on Krexel. And once again, a big thank you to Krexel!

Tengu Tanking

I knew I could now tank Tengu with HB. With HB I would reach about almost 9k hp. Tat’s really a lot. And as I knew, tengu deals about 8k damage. My buddy called for help for Tengu and so I went. There was a lurer and a DK. So there was HB and I could now have some fun with Tengu. I had always wanted to tank Tengu. It killed me a lot in the past before 4th job was released. And finally after months of hard training, it pays off to c me now tanking it.

It couldn’t kill me with one hit. It dealt me about 7.2k++ damage. I could now do stuns, fight it closely, jump over it, and stay close range without worrying. As long as I had the Hyper Body effect, I was able to withstand it. But its so hard to find Tengu nowadays. It gets killed easily and every1 is hoping for it to drop a rigbol sword.

Another 2 lvl 200

Another 2 lvl 200s were born. One was Twink444 and the other was Ryantzy28. Twink was a female DK thus she got the rank for the top female DK in Delphinus. After months of partying with bishops in every training hour, she reached 200. Same goes for Ryantzy28. Ryan is a archmage, a lightning ice mage. Thus he got the title as the top Archmage in Delphinus.

The 1st 200 ice mage in Delphinus too. Nvr expected him to be the 1st but others weren’t really training that hard and they slacked a lot. Once agin gratz to another 2 200s in Delphinus. And more to come soon. It seems that maplers in the range of lvl 180 are missing or either secretly training at various places I don’t know about. As I know, there weren’t much maplers training in Dukus too.

Scrolling jump shoes

And finally it came down to this. I finally got all my scrolls ready.. I’m going to start scrolling all the shoes. I had collected 80 over 30% jump shoe scrolls. Each costing me about 7m per scroll. I also have the shoes which I scrolled and kept in the past. I’m going to scroll them all now. Videos have alredi been taken. I have the outcome. Wat are the results? +20 jump shoe? + 25 jump shoe? All shoes destroyed?

And so I didn’t train much during these last 3 days dues to heavy lag and slacking a lot. Zzzz. It’s alredi been a few days since I last lvled up. It’s almost coming to the end of October. When will I be lvl 194? Zzzz. It’s so tough and it gets tougher everyday. I have no confident to reach lvl 200 by the end of December now. Not much confidence in myself. T_T. But I’ll try to do my best.

I too went for Zk runs to earn mesos. I would like to earn mesos from krexel everyday and also grandpa. But I have a semi-fix pt now. Not actually what I had in mind so I didn’t really focused on it much. But still I shouldn’t be slacking off. I’m around 50% now another 50% to go hopefully in 5~7 days. There will also be a x2 event next week. Hopefully not to lag too so I’ll be able to gain a whole load of exp next Monday. Time to put in more effort.

Fantasy Theme Park!!

Together with the patch on 8th of October 2008, the new Extension Map for Malaysia area has been released. It was the Malaysia Fantasy theme park map. As the name itself says, it is a theme park map with exciting theme park rides and new joyful monsters. ^^

I was looking forward to this release of the extension maps. And on the day that it was released, I quickly went to tour around it. I even made a video on it. And here it is, a short tour of me on the new Extension map, Fantasy Theme Park.

Cable Car Station 1

1stly, to go to the Theme park, one has to walk all the way to the right from the Malaysia Town map to the “Hibiscus road 3″ map. From then on, enter the top right portal, and the map to the Fantasy Theme park map starts there. Once entered, I was at the “Cable Car Station 1″ map. I could see 2 new monsters there. 1 was the “Scaredy Scarlion”:

And the other was “Ratatula”. Both of them are Plushies. One of them must be a lion Plushie and the other one must be a bear Plushie I guess. Or either it is a rat Plushie since its name is Ratatula. One could always get a Plushie as a prize from theme park games. Since one can find Plushies in Theme Parks, then the Plushies would be the right choice to serve as monsters for these maps.

So what is a Plushie anyway?

I had also received a quest back then to collect “scarfs” from Scarlion and hunt Ratatula for “Tail hat”. And so I hunted for them on those 2 monsters. It took a while and finally I completed it. The quest reward was only expereince points though.

Next I move onto the next map. I then took the portal on the cable car and I reached the 1st theme park map, the Cable Car Station 2 map. In this map as you can see, consists of Scarlions and Ratatula again. But they were doing different actions and had different names.

The scarlions were balancing on a barrel holding balloons.

While the Ratatulas were carrying big cups and spraying me with drinks whenever I atked them.

I also had quest here which was to hunt “Frosocla” (the bear plushie), collect their lucky hats, hunt for “Jester Scarlions” too and collect their Dented Barrels. It took quite a while for me to collect them all. The drop rates were good as I was also having x2 drop rate during that moment. Once done I handed in the quests and got experience points and mesos as a reward.

On the top right of the map was a small booth for snacks. Where did the storekeeper go? I wanted to buy some snacks. f3. Probably they ran off coz of the attacks from the plushies.

After the Cable Car maps, I was then at the “Entrance to the Theme Park”. I could see some rides now. The 1st ride I saw was the flying spinning plane ride. I could see that this ride has also been hijacked and some planes had crash. Dangerous ><

In this map, consists of another 2 monsters. The Bear viking, “Vikerola” and the Lion on a toy plane, “Booper Scarlion”. Surprisingly one of the skill of Vikerola was to heal itself. It heals for a high amount too about 30k++. Quite amazing for a monster like this. The Booper scarlion does nothing special though except for its cute animation. I too had quests here and it was to collect 200 drops from each of these monsters and hunt them too.

Then there was a candy machine nearby. It had 3 different flavored cotton candies on it and there were balloons for sale too. The balloons were in the shapes of the faces of Scarlion and Ratatula.

Then onto the right was another ride. It was the Pirate ship!! The pirate ship ride is a very big swing. It goes front and back, then front then back again and so on. It’s a swing which one can usually see in a playground but this was just bigger. The pirate ship ride was illustrated nicely with the pirate’s face on top.

The next map was the fantasy theme park 1. As soon as I entered the map, I could see another ride. It was the Giant drop ride. The giant drop ride is a shocking and exciting ride. There were maplers sitting on it and a lady too. I wish I was able to sit on this too. T_T. When riding on the giant drop, make sure to fasten your seat belts or you’ll be off flying somewhere~

The giant drop is a ride which 1st starts off slowly on the ground. Then it goes up slowly. Once when everybody is on top, it is then released. The people on it will go falling down at a very fast speed. But no need to worry. As soon as it almost reaches the ground, it will start to slow down. ^^

This is a very scary ride for those who have fear for heights. As you can see in the picture above, one of the maplers was traumatized and the other 2 puked. lolz. But strangely the lady on the left side seems fine.

The monsters in this map are the same as the ones in the previous map. So not much about it. But onto the right was another ride. It was “Dinorama Nightmares”. I wonder what this is. Is it a thril ride, or a water slide ride, or some tour around prehistoric places with dinosaurs and cave people?

Onto the next map I could see a different monster. It was a Ratatula on a horse. It was known as Gallopera. I soon found out that the ride in this map was the ever popular Merry-Go-Round. So that is how the Ratatulas got their horses. Sadly I couldn’t take a ride on it. The merry-go-round is so big that I couldn’t see the whole thing. By the way, Galloperas could also heal themselves too just like the vikings.

I also had a quest here. It was to hunt Galloperas and collect their tails.

Fantasy Theme Park 3

Then moving into Fantasy Theme Park 3 map. There were only Galloperas in this map. It seems to me that most of the fantasy theme park maps are huge. They have multiple platforms and the platform lengths are long too. Not really a suitable place for me to train though or for other bowmans.

Then to the most right of the map… was a Haunted House. What would this Theme Park be without a haunted house. Sadly too that the haunted house is close for now. There was a back entrance to this haunted house but it is closed too. This haunted house was called Spooky manor.

So this is the final map of the Fantasy Theme park map. Not much maps though but it was exciting to see them. I then went back to the Malaysia Town map and handed in the quests. And the rewards were a mystery gift and some experience points.

Overall I had fun in these maps. It was exciting to see these new monsters and to travel around the maps and watch the rides. Sadly I myself couldn’t sit on those rides. The monsters in Malaysia Maps have high drop rate of equipments too. One could earn a lot of mesos here if he or she would to farm here.

The Malaysia Fantasy theme park also missed out a roller coaster ride. It was only shown in the background though. It would be best if maplers could sit on these rides or even stand on it such as the merry go round or the pirate ship. I was actually expecting more on this extension too. They should have added more rides into 1 map instead of just putting 1 or 2 rides into 1 map. The maps here are also too big making it harder to train as one has to run all over the screen to fight monsters. Also the monster heals so its only suitable for atkers that are able to 1 hit KO them.

Anywayz, I still liked it and it’s another good extension for MapleSEA. I hope they will release more maps for the Fantasy Theme park map. I doubt it will just end at the Haunted house. It will be nicer if the maps would to end with a boss just like the Singapore maps and Showa maps.

MapleSEA patch 0.63

MapleSEA have finally updated to patch 0.63 on the 8th of October 2008. It’s been approximately 1 month since the last patch. And in this patch, a lot of things have been implemented and added into MapleSea’s database. After downloading the newest patch and updating Maple which took quite a while, I then logged in. Due to the heavy traffic and the patching of MapleStory by many maplers, the game resulted in lags. So I don’t think I will be training from then on till the lag dies down. So instead, I went around taking videos and taking screenshots of the new features and maps in MapleSEA. Starting with…

The party search function
-

1st of all I tried the party search funtion. Delphinus didn’t have many high level maplers training nowadays causing the party search function to me to be useless as for now. As my level was too high, I could only search for maplers at lvl 172 and above. But I would mostly party maplers above lvl 15x.

Guild union
-

Next was the guild alliance. Once a guild alliance has been made, the guild alliance window functions will be made available next to the guild tab. The guild which I’m in had made an alliance and I will be talking about it later on.

Jumping down function
-

The jump down function is seriously one of the best functions made available to MapleStory. It was much better than teleporting downwards by mages. Why is it much better? Because jumping down doesn’t have a limit range and one can jump down as long as there’s a platform to stand below. Jumping down helps speed up training times. I love this new function a lot and I use it a lot. Also very helpful during Party quests.

As for maps, the extension map for the Malaysia Area has been added. The extension map was called Malaysia Fantasy theme park map. And another area, the Halloween event maps has been released. It was kwown as the Haunted Mansion. 2 areas added in 1 patch. Though they weren’t so huge.

Haunted Mansion

I have to say that I nvr had so much fun in MapleStory since I duno when. This was because the quests provided in the haunted mansion was really exciting, informative, surprising and entertaining. Although the overall rewards weren’t tat good, it was still fun doing it.

1st of all, to enter into the Haunted mansion, one must talk to Cassandra. Casasndra is an NPC tat tells fortune in almost every single town. Talk to her, and she’ll provide you an item to go to the haunted mansion. Use the item and magically you will be sent to the Haunted Mansion~

Once there, there will be a quest that is needed to be done in order to enter. The quest was to name the graveyards on the left map in order. When that is completed, you will be transformed into a ghost. And you may then enter the haunted mansion. The haunted mansion looks fantastic with its baroque style and olden western designs. I liked it very much.

The 1st quest that I did was the pumpkin hat quest. I thought it was going to be the pumpkin lantern, the lvl 2x weapon, but it wasn’t. But still I did the quest. I didn’t know how to do it at 1st and kept hitting the wrong side causing ghosts to appear. Then finally I got the hang of it and started carving the face on the pumpkin. After a few rounds, I completed it and got the pumpkin hat which adds 2 MA and 2 WA. Not much though.

I then wanted to collect the theater masks, and so I continued with the other quests provided. There were 4 different masks, each with a different expression tat gives different stats. With a little guide using the quest window, I was able to understand and complete all the quests including some hidden haunted mansion quests. The surrounding was astonishing and the quests sure were fun. I had to re-arrange photos, collect pieces of cloth, do jump quests and many more. After all those moving around, I completed the quests and collected all 4 masks. Sadly they have an expiry date. I was also given a chance to transformed into cute Sophelia.

Then lastly I had to try the Party quest too. The party quests requirement needed was 4 maplers. It wasn’t tat hard and had only 3 stages. The 1st stage was to break a box to open a portal. The 2nd stage was to look for a piece of mirror in the mirror hallway without being caught by the ghosts. The last stage was to play a game of pokemon. Which was to capture ghost for points. In order to acquire the Mystery man’s hat, one must obtain 30 points. 30 points is equilvallent to capturing 300 ghosts. After a few rounds I got the hang of it and was even able to capture a maximum of 58 ghosts in just 1 round. ^^. It was pretty simple and finally I got the hat.

Overall I liked the Halloween event maps very much. I find them very interesting and definitely fun. All the time I was training and fighting bosses and nvr had the chance to do quests. This was fun and was totally different. So I didn’t trained much causing me to slack a lot and fall behind. And besides that, it was too lag to train anywayz. The haunted mansion is another great map added for this Halloween event. I have to say that it’s much better compared to the Malaysia fantasy theme park map.

Guild alliance

Also together in this patch as I have said before, was the implementation of guild alliance. Or also known as guild union. It is a combination of guilds together. A union can have up to 5 guilds together. But currently it is bug and no one can invite other guilds in. The guild alliance window is also messed up and not in order. The rankings are also non-editable.

I wanted to ally as quickly as possible before the good guilds are gone. It is good to ally as it expand friendship and develop a trust and helpful attitude between guilds. Well that’s what I hoped for. So far the alliance was fantastic but there were still bugs. LastHorizon was one of the 1st guilds tat set an alliance and it was with Shuzoku. And mayb with MintCandies in the future.

Then after 2 days, we finally got an alliance. DeOriginz allied together with Congenic. I have asked SinI0rd (Lvl 17x NL, guild master of Congenic) before, and he doesn’t mind and agrees with it. And so we formed an ally. It isn’t that exp and once we allied, we started using ally chat more often. Our ally name was called Ethnos, which means nation in Greek. It has a good sound to it and also a good meaning behind it. So both guilds agreed to it and it was made without hesitation.

Before the patch I did went for a couple of boss runs. I also went for grandpa soloing runs but they weren’t tat successful. Only krexel runs were successful. There were no HT runs either. This was due to Sinsin, the organizer being very busy causing all HT runs to be canceled till today. SO not much and only krexel. I would now try to kill krexel as fast as I can and to form a party to kill Krexel during the x4 drops. But mostly the atkers would be busy ah this moment causing them to miss the x4 drop rate event.

I heard that the hacking cases still continue so I decided to lock my earrings. I bought the seal lock and sealed my gold emerald earring. Eventhough it may not be perfect, I won’t be changing another earrring for a few more months to go.

So after all the fun I had with the new features added in MSEA, it was time to go back to training. Still the same thing, hard to look for pt, kept on shouting, and usual grinding my way up to the top. I have been slacking a lot and now I’m not sure whether I’ll be able to reach lvl 194 or 195 by this month. Zzzzzz

But I finally managed to level up just today on the 15th of October 2008. That really took quite a while. I had to move much faster than that. I also HP wash. I needed more int equipments during that moment if I wanted to HP wash. So I bought a 30% overall int again and scrolled it. Thankfully it passed and 5 int was all I need during tat moment. Lucky ^^

Other than that I’ll be probably updating by blog quicker. I have made up my mind. Hopefully it turns out rite. This is because I took too long to update it and I have been updating it too slow. I should try to at least blog once a day. I just hope for the best on my new commitment.

I will be updating my blog on either the 12 (Sunday) or 13(Monday) of October 2008. Just to announce to those who have been waiting to read all the news about the latest patch. So be Patient ^^. As also on the 11th and 12th of October 2008, there will be a Reimbursement of 2x EXP plan for Delphinus server of about 4 hours. So I will be training hard during the moment and won’t update the other videos and my blog.

In the upcoming blog, I will talk about the new fantasy theme park maps, the haunted mansion and some others. I will also try to participate in the Blog contest for MapleSEA (mayb).
