Crazy stuffs while HT-ing 1

It really has been a crazy weekend. Fighting horntail everyweek is getting me bored. Unexpectedly funny things happened. It was really a shock. 1st event that happened was an accidental summoning of horntail. It was on Thursday, L0yalknight’s horntail squad.

Yes. Horntail was summoned when every1 wasn’t ready. It was really a shock. But it was really funny eventhough I died.

This is the 1st time such a thing would happen. Lol. As you can c in the screenshot, some were still in the toilet at a LAN (Cyber Cafe) at Singapore. They were still afk-ing. How did Horntail came? Who did it? Who was the culprit?

(Sweetskexin, lvl 187 bishop)

Lolz. Well it was really funny. It was all done by Sweetskexin, lvl 187 bishop. She didn’t know tat she would summon horntail. After killing both Horntail’s 1st and 2nd head, we proceeded inside the bigger cave. Then some went for a toilet break. I was at the right side waiting for the others to come by. Then Kexin went up the platform and started hitting the crystal. I was like “omg”. She didn’t noticed the place where she stood would hit the crystal. We told her to stop and she did. She didn’t noticed the music changed too. When the crystal was atked, Horntail’s lair music will change. She had her music turned off so she didn’t know.

And then another mapler, they said it was GC, hit once on the crystal. And the crystal broke. And soon…. HORNTAIL came. I was in a shock and so was the others tat weren’t afk. I couldn’t stand but laugh. It was funny. And soon half of the squad was killed. 2 of the maplers who were afking in the middle died. I died too sadly. I thought I had HB on but I didn’t. And soon we failed. We all died and sure enough there wasn’t hope for us to be revived or continued HT-ing.

We all then went out of HT. It really made me “LOL”. This is the 1st time such thing would happen. I wasn’t angry though but some of the other squad members were. lol. So as a result Kexin’s point was reduced to 0. She didn’t know such a thing would happen to. But it was still her fault for being itchy hands. So the moral of this ht is, don’t be smart while HT-ing.

And soon it came to Sunday. Another Horntail run by DrSinsin squad. At least this run wasn’t as bad as Thursday run. That same mistake didn’t happen. But this time, we all tried something new. Jumping towards Horntail’s head!!

It was 1st Babylexx, lvl 16x DK, idea for jumping at Horntail’s head. He said that every warrior should jump towards horntail’s head to test their courage. I find it a little dumb though but they still they did. None died. And so then next, Iollip0ppie’s said that every nightlord should flash jump over Horntail’s head. And so she did. Then RHz did too. Well what could I do? I should join in the fun too. And this is what I did.

I manage to jump towards Horntail’s head and survive. Another crazy stunt by us. Fighting Horntail is really stressful and we needed some fun in it. So we had this crazy jumping event. Thankfully I didn’t die. I did the timing well. As when I was hit by Horntail’s spell, I won’t be able to get hit by it’s head. And if we die, we will lose our pride but none of us died. Even if we died, we still had revive. So then most of us jump including firemage Elvin. We should do crazy stunts often. XD

The drops weren’t much for these runs during this week. No concentration nor dragon shiner bows. Gratz to those who got their necklaces, egg and skillbooks

Last blog entry for this season

So as said above, this is my last blog entry for this season. I will be taking a break from Blogging and vlogging until season 6 comes. And also I will be taking a break from maple. Least will be 1 week break and most will be a month. As I have to see how things go. Season 5 I did a lot of progress. And there were a lot of horntail videos and me getting necklace and concentration. Hopefully I’m able to get the egg soon and also pass concentration 30. Times flies so fast and it is alredi time to get new avatars and probably a new pet. How would I look? What should I wear? Wat will the new pet be?

I didn’t manage to solo Zakum but I did manage to do the impossible, which is solo-ing all 3 showa bosses. This 3 months had been great. I’m close to the top but chasing ranks isn’t my main objective in the game. It is to enjoy the game, have fun and train till my own desired lvl. It wasn’t easy, it was quite difficult going through training times. I’ll still be going for weekly horntail runs but I won’t take videos nor blog about it. Ty all for support and the praises that you all have gave. Really appreciate it as it motivates me to move on. Byez.

Yet another Horntail

Yet another horntail battle. These few days there were more horntail Organizers. Now there were a total of 4 horntail organizers in Delphinus. Thursday was loyalknight, Friday, xGrandCrossx, Saturday Kenziboi and Sunday was DrSinsin. So as usual it was Sunday, I went for Sinsin’s weekly Horntail Squad. I was suppose to go on Thursday, but I forggoten again.

Thursday’s horntail ended around 2 hours which is now one of the fastest horntail runs in Delphinus. It was fought without Onyx apples too. And so the odd drops was Triple Throw 30 finally. Iollip0ppie lvl 19x Nightlord was given the privelegde of the TT and she passed. It seems that with more range atkers, Horntail will be down much faster.

Then Friday’s horntail was organized by GrandCross. WudiRockz, an ex-hacker was in the Squad. But still many went for the run wanting to succeed the run so that they could get the eggs, necklaces and the skillbooks. Their run were successful too but the drops weren’t much.

Saturday’s horntail was also a success. And finally came the Sunday’s run. As usual we fought Horntail to the very end. Sinsin nvr came for the run and Chillicat was put in charge. She did a great job too. There were a few that got disconnected. But in the end we still manage to kill Horntail. The odd drops were Enrage 30 given to Furystormz. I also took a video on horntail and the part of it which we killed the tail.

After so many runs of Horntail, Meteor 30 was the most common drop. Then came Sniping 30. MW 20 was given out mostly to maplers in the run. Out of these 4 runs last week, there weren’t any dragon shiner bows. Mani maplers are getting their necklaces now. Another 3 more runs and I’ll get the egg which is still quite long.

Scrolling jump shoe part 4

It’s been long since I last scrolled something. I have now collected once again mani mani shoes. I had a total of 42 shoes at that moment. The price of 30% jump shoe scrolls were increasing. There were now from a range of 2.9m to 3.5m. Getting really expensive because I bought a lot of them. I reli do hope I can get a perfect jump Shoe. So then I went to FM again and started scrolling.

SO a total of 14 out of 42 shoes passed their 1st slot with 30% jump. Tat’s about 30% chance success. Well it is a 30% scroll. Usually my passes will be less than 30% success. This will be the 2nd last round of me scrolling a 30% jump shoe on their 1st slot. I will then be collecting the final 40 bow shoes to scroll their 1st slot. After that, I will start scrolling their 2nd slot. That will be in a month or so.

Now Delphinus had our 3rd lvl 200. Which is MsJayce, a bishop. She was a multiplayer too. She trained very hard from day to night. Partying only with bishops and spamming Genesis like crazy mayb getting about 400m exp per day. Which is really fast.

And soon she became the 1st bishop to reach lvl 200 in Delphinus. She now participates in Horntail but she alwasy gets disconnected. She’ll have to fix the problem or else she won’t be able to Horntail at all.

As now my experience needed to lvl up is 1 billion exp. I get about 100m ~ 200m exp per day. So in order to reach 1b exp, I need about 5~10 days per lvl. And most of the maplers above me are now multiplayers or bishops giving them an advatange ahead of me. ><
So so hard.

Solo BG A, BG B and Grandpa boss!!!

Yes!! I did it. I did the impossible. I did what no other jobs can do. I did something that maybe no one ever did it b4 in Maple History. I solo-ed Bodyguard A, Bodyguard B and Grandpa Boss. This is now my best achievement in my history. The best I ever did. I’m proud I manage to do this. This really wasn’t easy. Not everyone can do this. I gave all my best and concentrated for hours in order to achieve this. I panic-ed, I was worried, but I kept calm and proceeded to kill em all.

I wasn’t planning to kill grandpa at 1st. I was waiting for my party member, DrSinsin to come to train with him. It was 2 hours early. And since I didn’t like training alone, I decided to go try Bodyguard A again. I wanted to test once again my skills on taking BG A. Maybe I could learn something. And so I tried. I entered into “The nightmarish last day” map. I summoned BG A and it came out.

My Experience on facing Bodyguard A

I started fighting it. It took me long. I was able to withstand it for 1/2 hour which is quite a big success as I nvr lasted in there for more than 10 minutes. I found the trick to handle Bodyguard A. As long as I puppet correctly, stand at the right position, cast skills well, and pot at the right time, I was able to survive.

I then did a mistake! Omg. Bodyguard A stunned me. Am I dead? No I wasn’t. I was lucky to be alive. And he didn’t target me and my puppet was down. I decided to lure it back to the right corner and so I did it successfully. And so an hour passed. I was using sundaes like water. This was in order so that I do not pot at the wrong time. I had used about 100 sundaes.

And soon the 2nd hour came. I’m still alive. My pots were almost running low especially sundaes. What should I do? So I decided to take the chance. I send pots to myself from another mapler. I only send in 100 sundaes. I did 2 more mistakes inside but manage to survive. I was fully concentrated and didn’t want to make another mistake. Taking videos during that time would make me die so I didn’t taken much.

Mistakes would be hitting the mobs at the left side causing Male boss to spawn in the center. Male boss spawns and blocks my area of attack causing bodyguard A to come closer to hit my puppet. I was lucky to evade it. And it soon came to the 3rd hour, 300 sundaes used. And estimated correctly, BG A would be down in about 3 hours. And so it did. I rejoice. I made it. I killed bodyguard A. It was a painful and torturing experience. Full concentration for 3 hours puppeting and potting and skilling. It was the greatest feeling I have felt that time when Bodyguard A was down.

My Experience on facing Bodyguard B

It dropped its items such as the bullet. I used my pet to pick it up by walking close to Bodyguard B. Bodyguard B wasn’t a problem. It only deals 1 dmg and recovers mp. Kind of strange isn’t it. It recovers mp on hit. So oh well, this was my chance. I couldn’t miss this and I continued hitting bodyguard B still puppetng often. I didn’t bring in pots for BG B and Grandpa Boss as I nvr expect to kill BG A in the 1st place. So I had to send more pots in.

And so I did. I sent it another 400 sundaes, 1000 watermelons, 180 all cure potions. I wonder are these pots enough. I have used the cash item, quick delivery tickets to send pots in. They cost 400 each and 2k for 6. They instantly deliver a single item with quantity to the desired mapler. And by using them, I need to enter my 13 digit code number to get the pots. They weren’t a problem. I could still SoA while typing the 13 digit code. And bowmasters have a special trick which enables us to SoA without even holding a key. I bought pots using another character and manage to receive them without any trouble.

But now comes the problem. My auto HP pot was on cheese. I had to switch it to watermelon. And to do so, I mustn’t be in Atking status. Then I notice that Bodyguard B always at on sight unlike bodyguard B. I was at a pinch of switching pots. Then I finally found some time to switch pots and I was on the edge. Bodyguard and I were at the left side of the map. I then manage to knock it back all the way to the right. Phew, it was close. I now have pots ready.

I was expecting to kill Bodyguard B in 3 hours. Coz BG B has more HP then BG A. Shockingly I killed it in 2 hours. And due to the shock I didn’t take a video or take a ss of it. Grandpa boss spawned. I got 2% from BG A and another 2% from BG B.

My Experience on facing Grandpa Boss

GRANDPA boss spawned. It started atking me using his crazy skills reducing my life and mp to 1 while locking me. I was able to still atk it and use all cure potion. I also manage to pick up the drops by using my pet and standing close to it. I knew that Grandpa Boss couldn’t hit the whole map so I had to use the puppet once again in order so that grandpa doesn’t atk me. And after a successful placing of the puppet, I was able to hit grandpa easily.

And soon after 50 minute of hitting it, I felt tat it was almost time. Soon Grandpa Boss died and the drops came flying out. I was expecting a Gold Emerald earring and a Zhu Ge Liang wand. But only a Violet Eigin and scrolls dropped. Zzzz. But oh well. This was a great success. I did it. I killed all these 3 bosses. It took me about 6 painless hours to kill these bosses. It was the greatest achievement I have had. And soon I went out and exchange the torchlight and got 100 elixirs back.

I used about 200 watermelons, 50 all cure potions, about 600 sundaes, several ciders, takoyaki and speed pills. I have learned a lot through this experience. It was wonderful. I did it. IAngelial, Delphinus server, lvl 185 bowmaster solo-ed BODYGUARD A, BODYGUARD B and lastly the GRANDPA BOSS.

How I solo-ed Tengu

The on day 504, I got bored of training alone and went to search for Tengus. I always solo Tengu at night by myself. Now how did I do it? Did I lure the mobs and hit Tengu at the same time? This is what I did.

This is how I actually solo-ed Tengu. Using the priest to lure, I was able to hit Tengu without the mobs hitting me. I killed Tengu in 8 minutes using red arrows and phoenix. I knew how to control my puppet well now thx to the training at Grandpa Boss. I was able to stand close to Tengu while letting my phoenix atk it. And so on that day, I killed a total of 4 Tengus. It’s been quite a while since I last Tengu as when I went to search for it, it wasn’t there. And so I got some scrolls from it and a black seraph cape.

These 2 days I have been slacking after the solo-ing for Bodyguards and Grandpa. Taking too much time to do the videos as they always have error in them. But they turned out great. I hope to get my feet back to training again. Thx for al those that supported me and gratz me on killing bodyguard and Grandpa Boss. I would like to mention it again that it really wasn’t easy and I dare any1 else to give it a try. =). Killing bodyguard B and grandpa boss is easy, but not bodyguard A. So I guess the next one will be Zakum. I’m just worried about the bowmaster mortal blow bug. Hopefully it doesn’t happen while I’m in there.

Level 185

And on day 500, I leveled up to 185. Yey. Now for another 15 more lvls to go but still seems so far and kinda impossible. The training gets tougher as the exp required for next lvled increased a lot. I needed about 950m exp to lvl up now. And it takes me about 9 days to level up on average basis. I could level faster because of the x4 exp event. Yes there was a x4 exp last weekend. It was MapleSea celebrating their launch of their new Exclusive SG map so a x4 exp event was given. I was able to get training maps for those 2 days. Kinda lucky I guess as there were much more places to train now.

And besides that I also Hp washed again. Adding about 41 hp for this level. If I use Int equipments all the way I just might be able to tank Horntail’s 9k dmg at lvl 200. Also I decided to increase my Dragon pulse skill to 11. Why? This is because I find that Dragon pulse is needed more while training at Duku maps. I needed to push more monsters with DP. As Duku can stun now, pushing more monsters away would help a lot. So I passed the dragon pulse skillbook on the 1st try. Leaving me with xtra 2 dragon pulse 20 skill books. I then gave them away.

Anti-bot monsters 2

I went to look for more anti – botting monsters. This time I went to search for the ice witch at El nath, and the scholar at Korean Folk Town. I did not quite remember what the other anti bot monsters was. And I was also at the area so I decided to go look for them.

The 1st one was the Ice witch. It was located at the furthest end of the el nath map by just walking right. I couldn’t find a way on how to kil the witch. The altar said it needed a trophy. Where can I get this trophy? Is it the trophy from events? So I was then sent back to town. Then on to another one, the scholar. The scholar was located at Korean folk town at the fox ride map. This map had only foxes in it. And soon the scholar appeared. It said it needed a tail of Sammiho. Wat’s that? So the I search and found it’s altar. I tried dropping a Fox tail on it and it worked. I was then able to kill the scholar.

Horntail and DSB

Well it’s the weekend which means another run of horntail. So the fight started as usual. There weren’t much problems during the HT. I’m glad everything turned out rite. It was supposed to be canceled but all compromised and we all turn up for Horntail.

I did capture several videos on me HTing. But later on I got dc due to the major lag nowadays. So I decided to delete the video instead. Horntail had about 40% hp left and I dced. which made me wasted my mesos coz I couldn’t share the drops now.

They then killed Horntail. Another successful run for us delphians. Horntail was killed in 2 hours 44 minutes. Glad that not much died or dc today. As for the drops, they were Maple warrior 20, Berserk 30, DRAGON SHINER bow wa 102, Green dragon sleeve wa 49 (Below) and a Dragon staff. It seems that no 1 was interested in the dragon staff or the dragon wand. Wonder why. Probably the mages prefers the elemental wands.

And so I bought the Dragon shiner bow straight for 100m. I now have 2 unscrolled Dragon shiner bow. I wonder should I sell off my Dragon scales and spirits. As making them would cost more than buying them. I would earn more from selling those Dragon spirits and scales.

Not only did I went for Horntail, but also other bosses like Zakum. There was a VIP zk, so I decided to go. The pay was good too. I didn’t had any lag during the moment so it was ok. It was organized by DkPanda and helming 2 VIPs. The run went succesfully. I also went for another Zk run and it was another successs. Killing zk now isn’t that hard as before.

MapleSEA V0.53

(Herb Town PQ pirates!!)

So the day came. It was the new mapleSea patch version 0.53. Together with this patch was the launch of the new SG extension map and also Herb Town PQ. Herb Town PQ was also know as Davy Jones PQ in MapleSEA. I couldn’t try it as the level limit for Herb Town PQ was from lvl 55 to lvl 100. If I would to try it, I have to create another character for it. There were also other things changed in this patch such as damage balances for bowmans and bandits. Once the patch was done, I quickly entered and went to check out the new cash shop items. They were:

It’s kinda ridiculous that those cash items, “my friend” turns out to be a weapon. It works with all weapons. It’s useful for Hermis so that they would have 3 characters throwing stars. instead. Then more clothings, hats, capes, ear muffs were added. The new blush red was also dded. In the previous update of cash shop items, the cross dressing clothings were added. This was mainly for the April’s fool season. It seems tat many guys in Delphinus like to cross dress as I saw many of them wearing wedding dresses and camisole + skirt. lol.

The macro skill function was also implemented. What it does is that one could put 3 differnt skills together. And by pressing just one key, the 3 skills would be activated in order. I seldom use it but when you use the macro skill, you are able to chat without the text being shown in the tetbox.

Zakum was then implemented in both channels. Now maplers could zakum in 2 channels, chn 3 and 4. I hope the server doesn’t crash being too mani maplers zakuming at the same time ><. Bullet taxis was then added in several towns. Bullet taxis are the black taxis 1st seen in lilth Harbour and Elinia. NOw they are added in SG town, and Orbis to help maplers move faster from one area to another.

SG Extension map

And after checking those newly added functions, it was time to explore the new maps. It was the launch of the New Exclusive Singapore Map Quest! Monsters there are said to be in range of lvl 85~115. Lv 115? Tat’s even higher lvl then skelegons. I just wonder what these monsters will drop. Will it be something good? And so I took a tour around these new maps.

There were more than 5 maps added in this new extension. Several monsters were added and they were funny ones. Such as berserkie and Veetron which are those black SG monters. They were carrying trees and insects to throw onto maplers. Then there were car monsters and a new stone golem. Lastly there was the tree monter which was known as Duku.

Duku gave about 5k exp each. After 10th April 2008, the Duku monsters were able to stun. The map for training on Dukus were wonderful. They deal low manage and move slow. They spawn fast too. After training there for about 2 days, I found out the drops from Duku was the same as Skelegons. Zzz.. Nothing new I guess. But now I was able to train at a new map instead of the same skelegon maps for so long. But I guess for bishops, training at skele would be faster as they deal more dmg to them. The more dmg, the faster 1 can kill and the more EXP can be obtained.

Anti-bot monsters?

It was said that several new mini bosses were added into some maps. I decided to go look for one. It was the Shade, a black wraith. I was at Kerning city at tat moment and decided to search for it. I found it and started atkin it. But it was all a miss.

It touched me and I was sent back to town. How should I kill it? I decided to enter into the subway again. This time this is what I did.

In order to kill it, I have to talk to the light NPC to swtich the lights on. This will make the shade able to be atked. It dropped nothing special except for a cap tat was wore by an engineer outside the subway. I was then told that these monsters were anti bot monsters. This was to prevent hackers from Vaccuming the monsters and hacking all the way. But why only these maps? Why don’t they implement in most maps? Hackers would hack everywhere and not only some certain areas. Zzz. Does this even help prevent hackers from hacking anymore?

Yesterday I went for a Horntail Run too. It was Organized by Loyalknight. I wasn’t late this time and managed to make it. But I wasn’t in a good condition to fight it. And once at Horntail’s body, I died 3 times. Zzz.. Wasted 3 of my charms and my pots. It was only at the right hand. So I decided to leave as also I didn’t wanted to die more. I knew tat there wasn’t a chance for me to survive any longer. And the atkers were less. We didn’t have atkers tat was good enough. Was it tat we were missin Elvni0’s mage party tat’s y it was slower? Or was it coz 2 main atkers in my PT wasn’t there? Or the melee team was weaker? Things weren’t going rite. And no propert instructions n leads was given. Overall It wasn’t as good as the Sunday’s run. Oh well.
