Phew. Busy busy busy. Getting tired day by day, zakuming, killing bosses, getting skillbooks, and earning mesos!! I’m nearly out of mesos now. T__T. Anywayz, I manage to get a few skill books these few days through a lot of HARDSHIPS.

Manon & Griffey, Bowmaster action,

With the new bowmaster skills, I’m able to kill bosses easily now like Manon and Griffey. On day 360, I went to kill Griffies and Manons. I manage to find them in each different channel. Now killing manon and griffey isn’t that hard. I don’t have to spam pots a lot now. I used to use up to 70 cheese to kill 1 boss. But now it only takes me about 20 ~ 30 cheese to kill one. This is because of the power of SoA and Sharp eyes. With these skills I’m able to push back these bosses lot. What I do is that I plant a puppet behind me, Turn on hawk and attack the boss in front of me. This is because the boss will aim for the puppet not me but since I’m always knocking back the boss, it won’t be able to reach the puppet giving me a lot of opporunity to deal it a lot of damage. I did hav a few trouble killing it because the kentaurs keeps on spawning interrupting me from damaging the bosses. But it was still faster than before. And during these kills, I manage to get Chain lightning lvl 20, which I then later sold for 10m and Pheonix lvl 30, my bowmaster skill. ^^

4th jobs in Guild quest

The guild which I’m still in, DeOriginz, decided to go for guild quest. We decided to farm guild quest to get our skill books. We went in many times. And as a result I got this:

It was lvl 20 Storm of arrows. I managed to pass it. I was so happy that it dropped from the box which I hit and the skillbook passed. We did many rounds later on. It was a bit boring though doing the same thing all over again gaining not much mesos and exp. But we needed the skillbooks. So doing guild quests is a must. My guildmates also did get their skillbooks. Even Cheatedby9m got 4~6 skillbooks during the Guild quest. Killing Ergoth wasn’t a problem as we kill it fast now. We ended our guild party quest at 4.00 am +8 GMT on day 361.

Was it all a dream?

This was taken on day 363 at 3.00 am +8 GMT. Does that mean I didn’t login since my last gpQ? I then check MapleSea official website. It was said that the server Delphinus was down since Day 362 at 7.++ am. It was up at 2.00 am day 363. I trained to about 40% on that day. But now it’s back to 27%. Was it a dream that I trained that much? No it wasn’t. There was a MAJOR ROLLBACK!! Everything that all maplers did on day 361 to day 363 was rolled back. All scrolls, gachas, purchases was unmade. All experience was return to wat it was 2 days ago. It was a major problem to all Delphians. Thankfully I didn’t lose anything much. But sadly, my guild mates lost a lot. Some hunted their skillbooks and scrolled them yesterday. But after the game was up, it was gone. The skillbooks was gone and the skill was gone. They had to hunt them back. Some lost A-Cash. There were also a lot of Megas going on like:

It seems tat we all had just awaken from a wonderful dream. Or for some, it was a nightmare as probably they had broken one of their equips from scrolling and now having it back. Due to this major rollback, the worse in Delphinus, there will be a Reimbursement Plan this coming weekend. While the server was down, there was nothing to do so I decided have to some fun in the play park forums and created this pic. ^^

Another skillbook.

So the game was up at that time and the time for all bosses was reseted. I quickly rushed to Leafre and I managed to kill up to 11 Griffeys at a time in all 11 channels. I found another chain lightning skillbook too. But after that many maplers came and they clear the rest including Manon. DrSinsin asked me to go for Pianus too. There was only 3 of us killing Pianus, including JrDknightz. And wow, it was like torture. I died 13 times while killing 13 Pianus in 7 channels. I spammed a lot of pots. I alos spammed a lot of safety charms on that day. But at least I did get a skillbook from it. Lvl 20 dragon pulse

At least it was something. 13 safety charms for a lvl 20 dragon pulse skillbook. zzzzz.. Later on Ade and Babby joined. There were more pianus in other channels, but I was fed up of dying, so I stopped.

I’m getting really poor. I’ve been fighting a lot of bosses lately and purchasing A-Cash which really drained my mesos a lot. I had to earn my mesos back now. Getting tiring day by day. The price of Blue Marine and Craven had drop drastically. Blue marine highest offer before was up to 85m but now I’m selling it for only 60m. Going to reduce more I guess. Probably it’s because maplers want to save their mesos for the skillbooks so they aren’t buying equips for now. The quickest way for me to earn mesos now is to kill griffies, hoping a skillbook drop and sell it for millions. Like lvl 20 chain lightining. It’s also because I bought a dog nose which adds 105 hp for 25m which made me poor.

I tried farming on Birks, but they didn’t give much items too. No ilbis in 8 hours. I also went for Anego. I managed to solo Anego in 36 minutes without cider or red arrows. And it gave me 2%. Which was very good. 30 minutes for 1.5%. I guess for now I’m not going for boss fights for the time being except Zakum, Manon and griffey. Tired and poor. T___T.

There was also a cash shop update on 28 Novemeber. Only 3 items added. And Delphinus 1 year anniversary is near. ^^

Hi!! Finally I’m able to update my blogsite. Been very busy!! And I mean very busy. There’s so many things that I wan to do, so many stuffs to do in maple. 4th job is out, many discoveries to be made. Like opening a new fantasy storybook with many wonders in it. I wanted to get my skillbooks as quickly as possible too. I wanted to go for more boss fights. Phew, finally had time to update. Here it goes~

Bowmaster 4th job advancement

I’ll start from where I left off. The screenshot before the patch on 20th Novemeber 2007, where I logged off at the 3rd job advacement room. And so the patch was done and I was in. The start of 4th job advancement.

I didn’t wanted to waste any time. I needed to change job immediatly. So I quickly talked to the npcs and I left to Leafre using the VIP teleporting rock. I went to the 4th job advancement room which is located right after Birks’s (white and black sheep) map. The 4th job npc requires me to collect the Hero star and pentagon. I had them but it seems that it didn’t worked. So I had no choice but to go talk to Tatamo in Leafre to activate the quest to buy the secret scroll. Then I teleported to Ludibrium and to the 44th floor to buy the secret scroll. The scroll costs 10 million meso!!! But there was no time to waste, as I knew there wouldn’t be any Manon or Griffey at that time. So after I bought, back to leafre i went, handed in the quest and to the 4th job advancement room. Talked to the npc, enter, enter, click, click, and yey!! I was a bowmaster. My 1st task was too get Athena’s glove. And it was said that it drops from blue Kentaurus. So off I went searching for it. It didn’t took me long to get it. After I got it, I went to henesys to hand itthe glove and I was then given, STORM OF ARROWS.

I now had 4 skills, Maple Hero lvl 0, Storm of arrows lv 10, Sharp eyes lvl 10, Hamstring lvl 0.

4th job bowmaster Skills

I then went to find the other skill, concentration. It was said that the skill concentration starts from a storybook dropped by sharks. So I went to hunt sharks. It is said that sharks drops sharp eyes lvl 20 too. So it was like killing 2 birds with 1 stone. It wasn’t easy looking for the SB (skill books). I hunted for hours and hours but there was still none. Later on I finally found it. I found a SB!! Surf board with a ??? name.

Lolz. This was really a rare item. It seems that the shark drops has changed. Oh well, I’ll still have to continue hunting. I went to did some other quest for skills too such as the phenoix quest and the El Nath Pq.

The next day, after a zk section, I went back to sharks. And after I killed a few sharks, *poof!! A green storybook came out from sharks!! Yey!! My 1st real SB. I could now learn concentration.

I went to did the quests for concentration speaking to NPCs and collecting the required items. But unfortunately, the quest at the end requires at least 2 archers to complete them. SteboonB1 decided to help me when I asked him. Eventhough he had alredi done the quest. And so off we went, killing 300 Junior Balrogs. It wasn’t that hard as we were quite strong. And finally I manage to learn concentration. Thx SteboonB1! ^^

El nath pq is a pq which starts in El Nath of coz. It can only be started by a warrior being him a leader. The warrior must also hav done his side of quest then he is able to start the PQ. El nath pq is about protecting Tylus, the warrior 3rd job NPC for a few minutes. Monsters such as Lycans and balrogs will spawn to atk Tylus. So we have to help the warrior to save Tylus. As a reward, skillbook for each job is dropped by those monsters. And from there, I got my dragon Pulse. I also did the Pheonix quest by getting the Pheonix egg, hatching it in Leafre and killing it. It wasn’t hard. Then lastly came the concentration skill. I also bought a lvl 20 sharp eyes skill book in FM. I didn’t really bought it but I traded it with Infinity lv 20 which I got from Papulatus that day. And I passed the lvl 20 sharp eyes. I saved 35million mesos.

Mounts

Together with the 4th job patch, Mounts are also introduced. Only 2 mounts were added, the riding pig, and the silver man. Riding pig requires a mapler to be lvl 70 to ride while silver mane is lv 120. I forgotten to capture a video of me doing the quest. It was pretty simple. One has to pay 20 million mesos for the potion to catch the riding pig located in KFT. And so after I did all the quests and paid the price, I was able to sit on the riding pig. I could now move faster. Riding pig increases your speed to 150% and jump to 120%.

I was satisfied with the riding pig. I could now move faster from one place to another place which saves up a lot of time. I could search for empty maps faster like in Anego, mini boss maps and much more. What if I could move even faster, I thought. So I decided to get the Silver mane too. I collected all the quest items which are Dragon skins from breaxton, skull and wooden shoulderpads. But this time, it costs about 50 million mesos to upgrade from the riding pig to the the silver mane. I had mesos that time so I decided to upgrade it. And yey, I hav the silver mane.

GMDFurnas came I didn’t know why. Maybe to visit me ^^. I then took a screenshot of us and my silver mane. Silver mane increases one’s speed to 170% and jump to 120%. It was great. I liked it. I then raced with a few different job maplers such as hermits and mages. Still Hermits Flash Jump are the fastest, followed by mage teleporting, then lastly me. T_T. So are the mounts good? In my opinion, it’s very good for fellow archers, bandits and warrios as we don’t posses any skill that can help us move faster except for haste. And while training at Sharks, I often get Slowed by them, but riding on the silver mane increases by speed back to normal at 170% speed. The sad thing was that one cannot use skills or items while riding on the mounts. If one doesn’t have a HP Pouch, it would be really dangerous to ride it at monster maps. You might have to dismount to pot urself. HP Pouch still works with the mounts though. Overall mounts are good. ^^

4th job against Bosses

Since 4th job is released, we will then need to hunt skill books. And most of these skill books are dropped from bosses such as Pianus, Papulatus and Zakum. So DrSinsin and a few others organized a fixed party to fight Zakum everyday and I participated. I needed skill books too. ^^

I went to a lot of boss fights. Died a few times too. But now it isn’t that bad as Bishops now have the skill to ressurect the dead. Some books dropped from these bosses are un-tradable so I have to watched what I picked. But during the 1st run I accidently picked up a wrong skill book, the Angel Ray. I had no choice but to throw it away. It was a waste.

After a few runs, my job skill book dropped from zakum. Lvl 30 Bow expert. But I didn’t have lvl 20 bow expert yet. So I kept it 1st. There were equipments and skill books too and our party was organized well so all the items were shared. It was fair to everyone in my opinion. With 12~18 ppl in the zakum party, it was alright. We managed to down all Zakums so far and none failures yet. All below 1 hour. Although there were some dishonest moments during some times but all was settled out. Thx all. It was fun.

HOT! Bowmasters vs Tengu

HOT HOT!! I’m so happy. I finally did it. I’m able to solo Tengu now as a bowmaster, with a help of a lurer of coz.

In this video I didn’t really solo it but I was capable of doing so. It was amazing. I was nervous wondering whether I’ll be able to solo it. I was at 0% at that moment as I just lvled. So it wasn’t a problem for me if I died. I was amazed at what bowmasters could do so I did this video as an inspiration to help inspire other bowmans. I didn’t die during the fight too, but it was closed though. This is one of my most favorited video. ^^. With help from DrSinSin, we were able to down Tengu fast. A scroll fell. A 30% cape for dex. I could now take my revenge on Tengus for they had killed me a lot a lot a lot in the past. =)

I also lvled up during quest hunting for the mount items. I achieved lvl 163! Yey!. Another 2 more lvls to go to 165. It won’t be that easy ><. The higher lvl one goes, the more difficult it gets. But with the help from 4th job skills, will I move faster?

4th job announcement in MapleSea

4th job is finally here. It’s been officially annouced in the MapleSea website!! Yey!! Finally after a year of waiting, 4th job released. The joy of obtaining new skills is so wonderful. So there will be a patch on 20th November 2007, from 0400 to 1000 +8 GMT. There will be many features added, such as:

Scrolling 10% on Nisrock

    The other day I bought a nisrock below 1 wa for 18m. I decided to buy the nisrock to change it to dragon bow later on in the future. And since it was below 1wa, I decided to scroll all 10% bow atk scrolls on it. This was because I wanted to know the chances of passing a 10%. Was it worth it to scroll a 10% scroll with a white scroll? What is a white scroll? A white scroll is a scroll that prevents an equipment from losing a slot if it fails. But doesn’t prevent it from being destroyed. And usually white scrolls costs very expensive about millions and it costs about 30m++ in Delphinus. So oh well, I’ll just try scrolling 10%

And so I did it. Amazingly the 1st slot pass. The 1st slot of a nisrock passed. I really didn’t expected it to pass this easily. I was thinking that it might pass a few slots later. So on I continued scrolling. Surprisingly 2 10% bow atk scroll passed on the nisrock. It had a total wa of 104 now. Which was ok. Not bad for a try. Does it means that 2 out of 8 10% scrolls will pass? Doesnt it mean that white scrolls are worth it to scroll with 10% scrolls? Or 30% scrolls? Hm..

x4 exp!!

    Out of a sudden, there were x2 exp event in MapleSea on both passed Saturday and Sunday. In the afternoon 1400~1500 and 1900~2100. It was unexpected. As because it was stated in the website that the x2 exp would start next week on the 19th not this week. Oh well. I missed out most of the training times. But I did try and train a bit at the map “Peak of the big nest”.

There were both skelesaurus and Nest golems there. Skelesaurus would give 19k exp with x4, while nest golems are 17.8k exp. Both monsters were good. But the funny thing was that the nest golems doesn’t drop anything at all. There weren’t even a single ETC from it. Zzzzz. Well anywayz, the map was good to train as it only has 2 lanes. It was alright for me as I was strong enough to handle the dmg. But really did drain my hp pots a lot.

    And so 4th job is almost out. I’m so nervous. But I did my homeworks on bowmaster skills so I guess it should be ok. It will be a start of a new era for me. I will start training once again. And luckilly just the other day I found a nisrock. And wondefully it was wa 97. I have now completed the whole item set in ‘Griffey’s forest’. I collected the whole lvl 100 items. I didn’t sell them yet and is still now in stores. Probably keeping them coz they look nice. =)

And since 4th job will be here soon, I will be very busy. Capturing more videos, taking screenshots and acquiring new skills. It will be exciting. Look forward to it~

Lvl 162 in IAngelial’s forest

Yey, finally I lvled after 3 months++. Once agin I’m here in griffey’s forest training. But now I call this map IAngelial’s forest since I’m there everyday and I kill griffey-ies which means I took over it’s place. XD

The video whos how I train in that map. It isn’t that hard to train in that map. The kentaurs doesn’t deal much dmg. There’s black and red kentaurs there. There’s always 4 kentaurs in the map. Whenever one is killed, another will spawn instantly. The map is also small. Which makes it easier to train. One doesn’t need to climb up or down ladders, jump onto platforms, to kill them. It was easy and one could relax training here. The only problem was the griffey. I have to be aware once griffey spawns. Another small problem is that mole in the hole. It comes out now and then and when you touch it, it stuns you. ><. The drops in kentaur map ain’t that bad, This was what I have found in the past 10++ days.

They would both sell about 100m. Which is a lot of money. This was the equips I was aiming for and also my lvl 100 bow, the nisrock, which haven’t dropped yet. Items dropped in kentaur doesn’t sell as much as birk drops. But it was still good. I just hope the prices doesn’t drop fast yet.

Manon the dragon

I also tried hunting Manon, the dragon on day 348. Since I have tried griffey before and also taken a video of griffey, why not try Manon now? And off I went. In luck I was able to find Manon. I noticed that Manon was much easier than griffey although both deal almost the same amount of damage. Manon’s map was much bigger too. And so after about 6 minutes, I killed it. The common thing that both this bosses have is that they have low drop rates. But I did hear from others that manon drops scrolls much easier than griffey. But it’s sad that I don’t train in this map but in griffey’s map instead. Hopefully one day I’m able to get a weapon equip from one of these bosses.

DeOriginz united?

This was one of the last screenshot taken for the last DeOriginz guild meeting. Adequate held a meeting on that day. It was about uniting and about helping each other during ksing times. I wanted to help but I don’t do ks. So I just say and listen. Adequate said she will leave if all didn’t unite.

And expectedly, the next day, things didn’t go well. I couldn’t whitness what had happen. But I knew something would go wrong. And so it did. Adequate left DeOriginz officially. She went and created a guild called Zest. I couldn’t blame her for leaving nor stopping her from leaving. if leaving would help her relieve her stress, then we shouldn’t stop her. It was true that the ksing problem all started from SinSin and that the members had to take it. So she left and didnt’ came back anymore bringing her friends and those that she recruited before into DeOriginz into her new guild Zest. This way, by making her own guild, she will be freed from the ksing problem and could enjoy her time with many events and games with her guildmates n frens.

In the end, DeOriginz didnt’ break down of coz. I was still in guild and some others too. We remained the same and all sub guild of DeOriginz was merged into 1. Making it easier to organize. And so life continues.

The dragon bow was still on sale. Am now bidding against Bonafide, a lvl 130 FM / lvl 100 hermit against the bow. =.=’. If I remembered correctly, bonafide was one of the Bowmans but I just couldn’t remember who. Anyway, I would stil continue bidding for the bow and c how things go. This was a funny screenshot I taken of Lczy, the seller of the dragon bow.

That day he put the bow c/o as 250m. Which was really ridiculous by OneWord, a lvl 1xx bandit. I soon found out that it was a fake bid. OneWord then later on said it was ok, since it help rised the price. Haiz.. some people would really do crazy things just to increase prices by making fake bids which I hate a lot. But things seem ok now.

And the other day I guess I was wrong. I played with GC while he was looking for a prz pt in mong. He was spamming in the buddy chat a lot looking for a prz to pt in mong. Without a prz in mong, one would take very high dmg from the mongs. So he continued spamming for minutes and minutes. So I couldn’t take it and said this. “Pm gcn0prz” Which means GC no prz. I guess he really did pm that ign and then he said there was no user of such name. =.=’. I then said try “Ino1prz”. Which means I don’t want prz. After that he asked me to stop playing around. Later on unexpectedly he Pm me. He told me he was very sad. He thought I was his buddy and was helping him. I did tried though but there was no 1. I was shock that he was sensitive that moment though.

There was one time he was also asking for prz party in Mong. And I said I would go heal him. He gave me a rude reply that time. But this time, he gave me a sensitive reply. And so I asked who was it. GC then said he was Sinderella. It was unexpected though I didn’t knew Sinderella was playing GC at that moment and would do such things such as shouting for prz parties. Sinder(GC user at that moment) then said later on, was it because I still hated her that’s Y I played with her. But seriously I didn’t know it was her. That incident was so long ago, and I had forgotten all about it and would just leave that alone. I guess that’s the problem talking to multiusers, you aren’t sure who your talking with. It’s like talking to some1 with a split personality. Scary.

Oh well, I just continued training/hunting then. And found a couple of items later on. And also did bodyguard A but didn’t turn out well. All died. XD

Bodyguard A & B

On day 343, DrSinSin organized a group to go kill the Grandpa boss. There were about 4 parties there I think. So all of us gathered at Showa town. And when all was ready, we all entered into “The Nightmarish last days” map. After a short briefing, the fight started.

As usual, it was a long and tiring fight. All we have to do was to stay far away from the bodyguard and attack it. We have to make sure that we arn’t standing to close to it or else we’ll die. After 15 minutes, A GM came. It was GMDFurnas. She came to watch us fight and also gave us GM’s blessing. After several minutes later, we managed to kill bodyguard A. And bodyguard B spawned. Shockingly 2 hermits went forward and died. I think it was Karaja and lovelysiin. Sad. A few minutes later, I got disconnected. I was also lagging at that moment. Sadly I couldn’t continue the fight with them. Later on I heard that they reached the Grandpa boss. But there wasn’t enough atkers so they had to leave. It was unsuccessful. It wasn’t easy too. There will be another run this coming sunday. Hopefully this time I won’t dc if I join.

Been brushing up my webpage, changing stuffs and adding things. Also changed the video style. As usual I continued hunting at the griffey forest map. Griffey’s drop rate is really low but I managed to get a 10% scroll from it yesterday. It seems that the lvl 100 weapons aren’t easy to drop. I’ve been thinking of changing places to hunt. Probably hunt at the birk’s map instead. But I wanted to try my luck still on getting the nisrock. Another dragon shiner bow is also out. I wonder whether I should buy it or not. It will definitely cost more than 100 million. Where can I get money quick? Most of the items at Griffey forest map don’t even cost much except kage. Zzzz.
